Warranty
Three Years: Building Structure, Fixtures and Fittings
All Expandihome houses, including all fixtures and fittings supplied with our portable buildings, are protected by a three-year warranty.
Expandihome warrants that the products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of three years. Expandihome will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective part.
Delivery of replacement fixtures and fittings will be the responsibility of Expandihome if the claim falls within the three-year warranty period.
Exclusion Clauses

The warranty is void if Expandihome are placed within 15m of saltwater bodies or if the building is directly affected by saltwater.
- Roof panels are covered under this warranty for defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover minor cosmetic imperfections that do not materially affect the installation, weather resistance, structural performance, or intended use of the roof panels.

Pest control is the responsibility of the owner. Proof of pest control is required when making a claim
When a warranty issue occurs with your Expandihome house, please follow the process below to ensure a smooth and efficient resolution.
1. Submit a Warranty Request
Visit our warranty service page with the link as https://expandihome.com.au/pages/submit-a-warranty-claim and complete the online ExpandiHome Warranty Service Form, including:
· House ID
· Detailed description of the issue
· Relevant photos or videos (clearly showing the defective area)
· Your contact information (name, phone number, email address)
Once submitted, a unique ticket number will be generated, and the request will be automatically sent to our official service email address (service@expandihome.com).
2. Acknowledgment & Assignment
Our support team will acknowledge receipt of your ticket within 3 business days and assign the support team as the primary contact.
3. Solution Discussion
Our support team will contact you to discuss possible solutions based on the information provided (e.g., remote troubleshooting, replacement parts, onsite repair, etc.).
4. Confirmation & Execution
Once a solution is agreed upon, our support email will send you a formal Solution Confirmation Notice, specifying:
· Actions to be taken
· Responsible party (Expandihome or a third party)
· Estimated completion timeline
· Follow‑up arrangements
5. Follow‑up & Closure
· We will keep you updated on any changes during execution.
· After the issue is resolved, you will receive a Ticket Closure Confirmation and an invitation to rate our service.
· If the issue persists or a new problem arises, please submit a new request starting from Step 1, referencing your original ticket number.
Important Note
To avoid delays, please always use the above process for warranty claims. Direct contact with individual sales representatives may not be tracked promptly. We reserve the right to inspect the issue onsite if necessary.
Replacements & Repairs
In the event a replacement part/material is sent to the customer or affiliated party by Expandihome, these parts are to be fitted at the customers own expense.
Any repairs or replacements on buildings completed by the customer or tradesperson are at the customers own expense unless agreed by Expandihome in writing.
Refund
For our standard range (Standard 2 bedroom expandable container home and Studio”), in the event that you wish to cancel your order, prior to delivery, We reserve the right to keep a $1,000 administration fee.
For custom designs and any custom Products, a non-refundable deposit is due and payable before we will start manufacturing your Product/s.
Storage Fees
If the customer is unable to receive delivery, upon the customer completion of all payment of goods, Expandihome can apply storage fees as follows, and you agree to settle any additional invoices within 24 hours of receipt:

For studio/20ft units, a storage fee of $50.00 per product per week will apply until delivery or pickup is completed.

For 30ft/40ft units, a storage fee of $100.00 per product per week will apply until delivery or pickup is completed.

All other products will incur a storage fee of $50.00 per product per week until delivery or pickup is completed.
